Musicians in Resindence

From 8 to 11 September, Faro Santander will host a series of musical interventions across various museum spaces, led by two musicians from the Reina Sofía School of Music.
 

Throughout each day, visitors may unexpectedly encounter the music of a viola and an oboe sounding from different areas of the building, blending into the visitor route and establishing a dialogue with the architecture, the exhibitions and the surrounding views. The two musicians from the Reina Sofía School of Music will be Jimena Miranda (oboe) and Hugo Hidalgo (viola).
 

Each musician will offer short performances designed to enrich the visitor experience, combining highly virtuosic pieces with others of a more evocative and accessible nature. The aim is for the music to naturally accompany visitors, blending seamlessly into the atmosphere of Faro Santander and becoming an integral part of the cultural experience.
