During the opening celebrations, Faro Santander will be open every day from 10:00 to 19:00h.

To mark the opening, admission will be free from 8 to 17 September, with continuous opening hours from 10:00 to 19:00. Tickets for this period can now be booked via the Faro Santander website. Additionally, a limited allocation of tickets will be available each day at the ticket desk.

 

Tickets for visits from 18 September onwards will go on sale on 8 September, and can be purchased both online and at the centre's ticket desk.

If you are travelling by car, you will find nearby parking facilities such as Parking Alfonso XII and Parking Centro Botín. 

How to get here by air to Santander

 

If you are travelling by air, Seve Ballesteros-Santander Airport is located just a few kilometres from the city centre. From the airport, you can easily reach Faro Santander by taxi, hire car or via the S4 bus service, which connects the airport with central Santander. 

Take a break during your visit to Faro Santander end enjoy some of the city’s finest food and drink at our café or Lumen restaurant, located on the top two floors of the building. Led by chef Nacho del Corral, both spaces combine local, seasonal produce with a privileged setting.

At Lumen restaurant, you will discover an experience that brings together art and fine dining within the cultural centre itself. With a menu based on local, seasonal produce, you can enjoy a dining experience in dialogue with art, architecture and views of the city.

 

Lumen has its own opening hours and can be accessed independently of Faro Santander via the entrance on Calle Ataulfo Argenta.

Los Jardines de Faro café

 

Los Jardines de Faro transforms the centre’s rooftop viewing terrace into an informal space where you can take a break, enjoy a drink and admire unique views of Santander and its bay.

 

The space will be open during Faro Santander’s opening hours, with extended hours on selected evenings.

During your visit, you can access Faro Santander’s audio guides free of charge on your mobile device via QR codes. A simple way to discover the exhibitions and explore their content in greater depth at your own pace.
