Faro Santander is Fundación Banco Santander’s new space for art and culture. Located in Santander’s historic Pereda Building, it is a space where art, culture and technology come together in an open and accessible setting for all audiences.

 

Faro Santander opened its doors to the public on 8 September, 2026

Faro Santander is located at Paseo de Pereda 9-12, 39004 Santander, Cantabria, Spain.

The standard opening hours will be from 10:00 to 20:00. The centre will be closed on Tuesdays.

No. Faro Santander is closed on Tuesdays all year except on holidays. It is open from Monday to Sunday, except on Tuesdays.
 

During the opening period, from 8 to 17 September, the centre will close at 19:00.

Access to the centre is through the main entrance beneath the building’s archway.

General admission costs €14.
 

Reduced admission costs €7 and is available to residents of Cantabria, people aged between 18 and 25, people who are unemployed, people over 65 and Banco Santander customers.
 

Admission is free for visitors under 18 and Banco Santander employees.
 

To mark the opening of the centre, admission will also be free from 8 to 17 September, although visitors will still need to book a ticket.
 

Tickets can be purchased online at Faro Santander and from the ticket office from 8 September.

Yes. We recommend booking your ticket in advance through the Faro Santander website.

Yes. Faro Santander will have Llamita, a space offering activities and workshops for families and children.

Yes. Faro Santander’s visitor experience is complemented by a food and drink offering on the upper floors of the building.
 

These spaces include Los Jardines de Faro, a terrace with panoramic views of the city and Santander Bay, and LUMEN, a restaurant offering a dining experience led by Nacho del Corral.

A ticket to the centre is required to access the terrace.

It’s not essential to make a reservation to enjoy LUMEN's culinary offerings. However, we recommend booking in advance to ensure a table, especially on dates and times with higher crowds.

Yes. Faro Santander has a shop located in the centre’s entrance hall, where visitors will find publications and products related to the exhibitions and cultural programme.

Faro Santander will have a YouTube channel where visitors can watch talks, conferences and other content.
