Cubo: Before Faro | Immersive experience

Before Faro brings together three interconnected audiovisual experiences that take visitors on a journey through the collective memory of this landmark building and the city of Santander.

The programme takes shape in Cubo, an ambitious digital installation spanning two floors of the building. Its interior features a 360° immersive projection system, while its exterior is entirely covered by an LED skin measuring almost 400 m². Cubo explores how technology is transforming the ways we create, connect and understand ourselves, bringing together artists working in collaboration with technology professionals and research centres.

Before Faro invites visitors on an immersive historical journey inside Cubo, beginning in 1857, the year Banco Santander was founded, and continuing to the present day. The experience interweaves the evolution of the port and the city with milestones in the Bank’s history and some of the most significant events in contemporary history.
